Did they make them with sticks?
Anyway, dad just sold the Olds equivalent of one of those. They're not bad, just kind of meh. Good MPG though, because GM. It was really comfortable though. Some mormon put the AC vents behind the steering wheel though, so you're only cooled when you're turning or the back of the wheel is freezing.

Yup. Chevy Lumina Z34. 3.4l DOHC V6 with a Getrag 5-speed and the famous "FE4" handling package. Would make a fantastic autocrossable keep-my-dad-happy daily driver, but they're DAMN hard to find. Respectable 7.5 second 0-60.

I was googling and CL'ing lots of 80-90's oddball cars this morning. I'm ashamed with myself thatI like these. But I want to RWD convert it and make it faster.

Auto transmission makes me a sad :(
There was someone who RWD converted a Lumina by putting it on Pontiac running gear

Definitely not. The greenhouse looks very S13 silvia. Actually, the whole thing looks like a stubby FWD Silvia.

The old Michigan Blue Plate? That car probably hasn't been registered in EONS! They took all my blue plates away in like 2006 or 2007...

I think the hardest part would be opening up the floor pan to allow room for the drive shaft. Our you could just use fiero rear suspension and subframe, make it mid/rear engine with whatever engine you felt like using.
